What is the green light hub in Uber? ›

Your leads will need to visit a Greenlight Hub to get their profile picture taken and activate their account. Greenlight locations also offer in-person support and signup help. You can find the addresses and opening hours of Greenlight Hubs available in your city at the link below.

The approval typically takes 2 hours. Once approved, your photo updates on both your rider and driver accounts.

Why am I being asked to take a photo of myself? Because your safety and security, including the security of your courier account and access to the Uber Driver App, is a top priority, we've introduced an identity verification check to help us ensure only you or your appointed substitutes can access your account.
