The popular event is back atBrevard Zoo, 8225 North Wickham Road, Melbourne, every Saturday and Sunday in October from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be trick-or-treating, photo opportunities, Halloween decorations, spooktacular music, special performances and more. Costumes are encouraged. All Boo at the Zoo activities are included with general zoo admission and free for members. The event will have themed weekends as follows: “Pirates”; Oct. 14-15, “Anime”; Oct. 21-22, “Magic” and Oct. 28-29, “Monsters.” Visitbrevardzoo.org.

Foggy Bluff Dead & Breakfast at Green Gables

Harbor City Blvd., Melbourne, transforms into “Foggy Bluff,” where ghost walks around the grounds will be offered starting at 8 p.m. Thursdays through Sundays from Oct. 19 to Oct. 29. There will also be kid-friendly events on Oct. 20, 21, 27 and 28 from 5 to 7 p.m. Tickets are $20 per adult and $10 for children. Melbourne Community Orchestra celebrates the approach of All Hallows’ Eve with “Le Cirque des Rêves,” a masquerade concert, at the Melbourne Auditorium, 625 E. Hibiscus Blvd., on Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 18-19 at 7 p.m. From the haunting cadences of Khachaturian’s waltz from his “Masquerade Suite” to the mysterious creatures of Saint-Saëns’ “Carnival of the Animals” featuring dancers from Prelude Dance Co., the program will delve into the world of the macabre. Brevard Ave., followed by Johnathan’s Pub at 6 p.m., VFW Post at 7 p.m., Area 142 at 8 p.m. and The Dunes at 9 p.m. There will be a costume contest, door prizes and a 50/50 drawing to benefitNational Veterans Homeless Support.
